Over many years at Garador, machines and gangways had been moved and repositioned, resulting in the floor being uneven with a  poor surface and damaged expansion joints. Due to the bad condition of the floor the movement of components around the factory had become quite hazardous and repairs to forklifts were happening far too frequently.

 

The client was looking for a smooth, hardwearing surface that would be easy to keep clean and guaranteed to last for a number or years. Resuflor at 3mm, a seamless epoxy self levelling system was specified.

Garador finally issued the contract to lay 600m² to Daryl Hopkins of Protective Coating Systems UK Ltd.

Because of the success of this first phase Protective Coating Systems have been given the go ahead for the remaining phases.
