As a result of the large number of coastal properties Rabbit Contracting have weatherproofed over the years they were asked to provide a specification to refurbish Patcham Windmill. The mill had been painted twice in the last five years with conventional materials but its exposed location had lead to early failure on both occasions.

Intense preparation took the walls back to a sound  surface after which RSL's  Ecuseal  elastomeric coating was applied to create a final dry film thickness of 500 microns. This coating allows the masonry to 'breathe', expands and contracts along with the movement of the building and will provide a waterproof, attractive finish for many years to come.
